Teaser Video for Nikki Haley’s 2024 Campaign Launch Released by Her PAC

In a video that was posted on Wednesday, Nikki Haley’s political action committee provided a sneak peek at her forthcoming announcement. This is regarding her run for the presidency in 2024.

It asked potential supporters, “Where will you stand?”

Theatrics

The spot, which runs for a minute and a half, begins with archival footage of former United Nations Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick delivering a speech at the 1984 National Convention.

In her remarks, she criticized the convention attendees for their tendency to “blame America first.”

The screen then cuts to clips of the country that are both scenic and patriotic. This happens while the narrator reads a poem by Charles McKay that was a favorite of the late Margaret Thatcher, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

The poem contends ‘you’ve been a coward in the battle’ if you have not made adversaries along the way.

One of Haley’s likely adversaries will be her former boss, the former president, who already announced his intention to run for the presidency again in 2024. He made the announcement in the middle of November, right after the Republicans’ poor performance in the midterm elections.

The ad promotes the date of February 15, 2023, as the place when Haley, a former governor of South Carolina, is anticipated to launch her candidacy for president from Charleston.

In addition to that, it highlights a few of her comedic zingers.

Haley is heard mentioning that she dresses up in heels. It’s not to make a statement about your sense of style. It’s for the simple reason that if she catches them doing something wrong, she’ll kick them each and every time.

In another video, she asserts that the United States of America is the most powerful force for good in the annals of human history and its people should never feel ashamed to proclaim this.

Competition

The arrival of Haley into the 2024 Republican primary field signifies the beginning of Trump’s serious competition for the nomination.

She is likely to be accompanied by a number of other officials from the Trump administration, notably ex-Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, both of whom appear to be testing the waters.

Trump spent the majority of his time criticizing another potential candidate for the Republican nomination in 2024, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is widely regarded as No. 2 in polls.

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina will host his own rally in Charleston on Thursday, a day after it is anticipated that Haley will make her statement.

After that, he is going to travel to Iowa. This is the state that hosts the first caucus in the nation. It is an indication that Scott intends to make a presidential run as well.

Haley revealed on Wednesday that she’ll fly to New Hampshire, the state that hosts the first GOP primary election next year, in the days after her South Carolina appearance.
