The various unspeakable atrocities that have been committed by Russian troops in Ukraine are hard to be grasped in their entirety.
However, one horrifying aspect of those has been the Russians’ vicious abuse of Ukrainian children.
Hundreds of Ukrainian Children Killed or Wounded
A total of 164 Ukrainian children are confirmed to have been killed by the Russians, Ukraine’s Chief Prosecutor’s Office announced on Monday.
More than 400 other Ukrainian children have been wounded by the Russians to various degrees. These are just the verified figures; the real child death toll from Putin’s hellish actions in Ukraine is certain to be much higher.
This includes the Ukrainian capital’s northwestern suburbs, Bucha and Irpin, where mass graves and mass murders committed by the Russians absolutely jolted the world over the past couple of days.
According to Tymofiy Mylovanov, an adviser to Ukraine’s President Zelensky, even more horrifying atrocities may have been committed by the Russians in Brovary and around the city of Chernihiv.
Mylovanov mentioned briefly, as cited by The Daily Mail, that eyewitness accounts, plus anecdotal evidence, indicate that young Ukrainian kids may have been burned alive.
Young women were gang-raped and then killed; locals were deliberately starved by the Russian monsters and forced to eat their pets.
We ask you to refrain from participating in the killing of innocent people in Ukraine. Every ruble passing through Russian taxes turns into tears and death of Ukrainian children. Stop all freight and transport traffic from / to russia pic.twitter.com/oDDXzkxXOB

Not every military trophy reaches russia. Hundreds of cars with loot from the suburbs of Kyiv – from children's toys, carpets to, as in this photo, washing machines, were grabbed in the last few days by retreating russian troops. pic.twitter.com/i3EaycU0NT

Kids Grabbed, Put on Tanks as Human Shields
Some particularly nauseating acts of the Russian soldiers have been revealed based on eyewitness accounts of them seizing Ukrainian children and putting them on tanks as “human shields” to prevent defenders of Ukraine from destroying them.
The accounts are part of evidence collected by the Office of the Ukrainian chief prosecutor, as cited by The Guardian.
Those who witnessed the harrowing scenes say as they started to retreat, the Russian brutes grabbed local children and put them on top of their tanks.
The move certainly caused immeasurable harm to the kids, but probably saved more Russian criminals from annihilation by the plucky defenders of Ukraine.
As of Monday morning, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, more than 18,300 Russian troops have been killed.
647 tanks have been destroyed, alongside 1,844 armored personnel vehicles, 1,273 trucks and other vehicles, 92 drones, 147 warplanes, 134 helicopters, seven ships, 165 missile launder trucks, and 330 artillery pieces.
In a village called Novyi Bykiv, about 100 miles to the north of Kyiv, entire buses of children were driven in front of the retreating Russian tanks, according to eyewitness accounts.
In other cases reported all over the invaded territories of Ukraine, in the north, east, and south, the Russians took Ukrainian children as hostages in order to guarantee local people wouldn’t tell the Ukrainian military where the enemy was moving.
Those have been revealed by Ukraine’s human rights ombudsman, Lyudmila Denisova.
Putin’s troops have been making use of Ukraine’s children “as a living shield” for their convoys, said Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, who is a spokesman of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
Motuzyanyk vowed the “occupiers” will be held accountable for “each and every one of their war crimes” in Ukraine.
Bucha, Ukraine after the Russians left. Streets filled with bodies with hands tied behind their backs & shot in the head. A mass grave of just civilians. If the west does nothing about this then 'never again' has to be the biggest joke I've ever heard.#GenocideOfUkrainians pic.twitter.com/QbEemI9hFO

“It will be recognized by the world as genocide,” Zelensky told reporters. “We know of thousands of people killed and tortured, with their limbs cut off, women raped, children killed,” he said presumably about the atrocities all across Ukraine.

Children were found with their hands tied and shot dead. #Russia soldiers killed them because they could! Because the West chose to watch! Because the @UN and @NATO chose to ignore #Ukraine plea for help
