Support for Joe Biden running for president again in 2024 is on very shaky grounds.
While some Democrats have come out to endorse Biden’s reelection efforts, others are suggesting the party needs to move on to new candidates and the next generation of leadership.
Biden himself doesn’t even seem to be sure about whether or not he’s seeking the Oval Office again. He said that he would, but then later changed his mind and claimed that it was too early to make a call.
Some folks on the left have been increasingly treating a Biden 2024 presidential run as a last resort. One of the latest people to echo such a sentiment is radio host Charlamagne Tha God, according to Newsmax.
Not a Good Reflection on Biden
This past Monday, Charlamagne made it clear that he thinks Democrats should be able to do better than Biden in the 2024 presidential election.
The radio host even went as far as to state it’s “sad” if Biden is the best Democrats can do in 2024. Though Charlamagne also stated that he thinks a Trump vs. Biden rematch in 2024 could go either way.

On top of that, Charlamagne also made it clear that he doesn’t believe Vice President Kamala Harris is the answer to the problems Democrats are facing. He then continued on to predict that Harris would lose to both Trump and DeSantis, depending on which one gets the GOP nomination.
Later in Charlamagne’s assessment, he claimed he’s not seeing anyone in Democratic ranks with the capability to “galvanize and energize” the base in 2024.
Good News For Republicans?
If Joe Biden does end up being the Democratic nominee in 2024, unlike in the 2020 presidential race, he’ll have to answer for all the baggage associated with his presidency.
In a hypothetical race where Biden was up against DeSantis, DeSantis could easily hone in on Biden’s failures regarding the economy, the southern border, crime, etc.
As a presidential candidate, DeSantis could also hold Biden to task for not living up to his commitment to unify the country.

If anything, political division has worsened under the current administration. Biden personally is feeding into this by ripping Republicans he does not like as semi-fascist and threatening to democracy.
Whether or not Biden is able to eke his way into a second term will largely be determined by who the GOP nominates in the 2024 presidential election. This is still a very critical matter that has yet to be determined.
