Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Busted, Charged with Two Counts of Drunk Driving

Paul Pelosi, the multimillionaire husband of Democrat heavyweight Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has been arrested for drunk driving.

Pelosi was immediately charged with two counts of DUI in a bust near the family’s vineyard mansion in California’s Napa Valley.

82-year-old Paul Pelosi Sr. was arrested by a traffic police patrol shortly before midnight on Saturday, in an incident first reported by TMZ. The multimillionaire was booked into jail early Sunday morning before getting charged and released on bail.

Paul Pelosi and his wife, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have a combined total net worth in excess of $120 million. They have been married since 1963, for 59 years now, and have five children.

Nancy Pelosi’s husband is reported to have been busted after being involved in a car crash in Napa, California while trying to cross State Route-29, The Daily Mail reported.

The husband of the Democrat House Speaker has been charged with two misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and DUI with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08.

Nancy Pelosi herself made no mention whatsoever of her husband’s DUI arrest during her public appearance on Sunday morning.

Pelosi Silent Because It’s ‘Private’ and She Was on Different Coast

Around the same time Paul Pelosi was being released on bail in California, Nancy Pelosi was giving a commencement speech at Brown University, Rhode Island to graduating students and their parents.

Later on Sunday, a spokesperson for the California Democrat told Fox News the House Speaker wouldn’t be commenting on her husband’s drunk driving arrest because it was a “private matter” and “occurred” as she “was on the East Coast.”

The California Highway Patrol, whose officers busted multimillionaire Paul Pelosi Sr., hasn’t put out any statement or other public information on his DUI arrest as of Sunday night.

Neighbors of the Pelosi winery on Zinfandel Lane, which is situated on the Napa River banks, told the Daily Mail they weren’t aware of the high-profile arrest.

However, they said the Pelosis oftentimes block the entire road with a “convoy of black-out SUVs.”

Neighbor accounts also say they like throwing “lavish parties” for executives from Big Tech Silicon Valley companies.

There have been many questions and suspicions about the fortune of the Pelosis. It was acquired primary in the past couple of decades through tech investments in corporations such as Alphabet, i.e. Google’s parent company, Apple, and Disney.

The period coincides with Nancy Pelosi’s rise to power in the Democrat Party. This has fueled speculations about the family’s involvement in “insider trading” schemes of sorts, which the Democrat House Speaker has vehemently denied.

Nancy Pelosi herself has been a member of the US House of Representatives from California since 1987. She was the House Speaker from 2007 to 2011 and then again since 2019.
