Kamala Harris Sparks Outrage by Equating 1/6 to 9/11

While Biden threw myriad empty accusations at President Trump during his speech about January 6, 2021, Vice President Kamala Harris also gave an address that was in a league of its own, due to her bizarre claims.

Biden’s speech was forcedly overdramatic and fully geared towards attacking Trump.

However, Harris’ remarks will be remembered first and foremost for her extremely bewildering comparisons. These comparisons unjustifiably equated the protests that penetrated the US Capitol with terrifying dates in American history.

Equating Trump Supporters with al-Qaeda Terrorists and Imperial Japan Fascists

Harris mentioned the January 6 Capitol storming by a few thousand Trump supporters, alongside the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the World War II attack by Japan on the US Naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

The vice president, by her own admission, believes “January 6, 2021”, “September 11, 2001”, and “December 7, 1941” are exactly the same. In her view, all three of those are the dates when “our democracy” was “under assault”.

9/11 and Pearl Harbor were all-out, full-scale, even existential attacks against the United States by powerful global enemies of the American people who hated us for who we are.

Meanwhile, the January 6 events at the US Capitol were the unhealthy expression of justified anger by a group of American citizens with serious concerns and suspicions about the legitimacy and fairness of the 2020 presidential election.

Using her ridiculous 1/6 – 9/11 comparison as a foundation, Kamala then embarked on a tirade about how the January 6 protesters who entered the US Capitol actually attacked the civil rights of American citizens.

Harris called January 6 protesters, “extremists” who were assaulting the “institutions, values, and ideals” of many generations of Americans.

She then continued her motif of trying to portray herself as a defender of civil rights and voting rights, particularly for American citizens of color.

This self-styled stance has been one of Harris’ few refuges in which she has been trying to hide from her falling ratings.

She further stated this “radical faction” – i.e. Americans who dare to support President Trump – has “old and deep” roots, an evident allusion to slavery and racism in certain parts of the United States in the past.

At this point, Harris became even more highly partisan. She used the occasion to promote the Democrats’ agenda for adopting federal-level “voting rights” bills, thus crushing the rights of American states.

Milking January 6 to Smear Trump Supporters

Kamala’s ludicrous equating of 1/6 and 9/11 were defended by Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki, in a perplexing manner.

The latter urged critics “not to focus” on comparisons between moments of history and instead help “solve the threat to democracy.”

Top Republicans, however, were absolutely outraged by Harris’ comments in her January 6 anniversary speech. GOP Rep. Andy Biggs described them as “truth-twisting” and “fear-baiting.”

Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis lambasted the vice president because her comparison to 9/11 presented “an insult” to people who went into the Twin Towers to save others after horrifying Islamist terrorist attacks.

DeSantis added Democrats will use anything and “milk” January 6 as much as possible, just in order to “smear” any supporter of President Trump.
