Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris issued what appears to be a veiled criticism of her boss, President Joe “Empty Shelves” Biden, over his declaration of independence from COVID-19, back on July 4.
Harris spoke about this during an interview for the Los Angeles Times.
Veiled Attack Against Her Boss
Harris told the LA Times that “we” haven’t been victorious over COVID-19. She added nobody could “claim victory” since coronavirus claimed more than 800,000 lives in the United States.
This was precisely the part of her comments that seemed to indirectly lambast Biden for stating on July 4, America was celebrating its independence from the coronavirus. Biden had said even though the virus hasn’t been defeated, it wasn’t “controlling” Americans’ lives anymore.
Of course, that hasn’t turned out to be the case, first, due to the arrival of the more aggressive Delta variant of COVID-19, and now the arrival of the seemingly even more contagious Omicron variant.
Omicron is expected to cause a giant new wave of infections. As of Saturday morning, it had been detected in 45 states, with the latest to register Omicron cases being Wyoming, Kansas, Maine, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
A lot of people knew it was coming, she could've asked

Not So Veiled Attack Against Scientists
Harris lambasted virology experts on whom the Biden administration has been relying on for “advice and direction.” Biden’s vice president seemingly considered it a good idea to declare the scientists “didn’t see Delta coming”.
She then told the LA Times about one of her greatest “regrets”, namely, the fact that she hasn’t managed to dispel “myths” about both the coronavirus itself and the vaccines, which seem to have hindered the mass vaccination campaign.
Harris insisted that “misinformation” about COVID-19 and the vaccinations ought to be taken “more seriously” since, in her words, the “threat to those unvaccinated” remains the “biggest threat” “to the American people.”
The vice president claimed to be “deeply troubled” by the fact that mostly only people who do believe in the vaccines and their efficiency have already gotten the jabs.
Later on Friday, the 57-year-old had a substantially graver PR disaster, as she got furious on live TV when answering a question by Comedy Central Charlamagne Tha God.
Charlamagne asked whether the real president is Joe “Empty Shelves” Biden or West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin. Harris visibly lost her temper; meanwhile, her aide Symone Sanders unsuccessfully tried to interrupt her and stop the interview.
Harris’ public approval rating has been really miserable lately. Earlier this week, a Hill/HarrisX poll found 50% of the voters disapprove of her work as Biden’s vice president, while 43% generally approve, but only 20% approve strongly of her.
In November, a poll by USA Today put Kamala’s public approval rating at 28% and Biden’s at 38%.
man what was the point of electing these people

A Harris adviser tells @JasJWright that when @vp told @Noahbierman of the LA Times that “we didn’t see Omicron coming,” what she meant was specifics of microbiology: “the Vice President’s comments referred to the exact kind of mutation,” the adviser said
